I think this is hilarious. A replacement copy of Blue Moon was purchased by the library because the patron’s guinea pig ate it. XD See? My book is tasty. To small rodents, apparently. But I will take what I can get. Everything else is fine. Work is a little crazy right now. My Chatelaine report looks beautiful. The poison ivy is nearly gone. I’m contemplating doing NAMOWRIMO this year. Now I’m going to do …

The signing went really well. 🙂 I sold all but one of the books they ordered, and the people at Border’s seemed really happy…one even asked me if I’d like to do a signing in Morgantown, and so I will call and arrange to do one there, soon, probably after Pennsic. I sold two books to friends directly, and Brian, owner of the first non family signed copy of the book, brought his mum, …

So, today I finally made up my press packets.  I had the stuff written, but I decided not to bother printing until Spring…why risk having an event and no one showing up because of the weather?  And if nothing else, at least maybe it’ll get people interested in buying the book.  Last Friday I bought Staples out of their stock of dark blue folders, even ended buying some teal.  :-/ So, I’ve included the …

Today’s snippet is dedicated to Tim King, who visited last week and wanted to know a little about Libby, the heroine of my new book, Blue Moon, to compare her to Tasmin. We actually see Libby sooner in the book, through the eyes of a mysterious stranger (it’s the Prologue Excerpt, here.) who rescues her. It’s coming, Libby thought, not with a shudder, but with a little regret. Summer had fled before she’d had …
